Whats Bungle been upto we hear you ask,
read on for an update !
An ecstatic Bungle travelled back to Brazil at the beginning of Aprilafter what can only be described as a truly successful tour. Credit
must be given to the young Brazilian super producer who was leaving
his native Brazil for the first time to embark on a whirlwind tour of
mainland Europe and the UK to promote his forthcoming album on CIA
Down To Earth . Taking in countries such as France, Austria, Poland
and Macedonia really opened the floodgates to his creative prowess
and performance capabilities, and gigs in the UK where he played
alongside such greats as DJ Marky, High Contrast, Zinc and Bassline
Smith, highlighted him as one of the people to keep an eye on in the
coming months. Although exhausted, Bungle is not deterred from his
task and is already looking forward to the next tour period in June.
Dates have already been confirmed in Germany, Switzerland and UK with
more dates being added all the time. The next tour period comes after
the release of his album and Bungle will be taking the album on the
road to explain in no uncertain terms what his production is all
about.
In addition to his touring commitments and finishing off his album
project, Bungle has been exercising his right to versatility by
hammering out two excellent remixes all in the name of charity. The
first is for the monster Greenpeace organisation and a track called
Black Smoke . The same track was given to a spread of household
names including Groove Armada and the idea was simple, do your thing
to this track! So Bungle got on with the job at hand and has created
a superb, upfront DnB style remix of what was a pretty average tune
to begin with and contained some less than normal vocals. The boy
wonder did well and you can expect to see the remix as part of an
album project later in the year. The other remix was for an
organisation called Bottletop and ran along very similar lines to the
Greenpeace remix. Bungle remixed a track called Segunda Feira and it
has gone down so well that Bottletop will be releasing it as a limited
12 single with Nu:Tone's offering residing on the A-side. Both tracks
show Bungle's diversity as an artist with Segunda Feira showing the
more melodic and harmonious side to his ego. More news can be found
