Nico: Nico and his infamous No U-Turn label have been away from the scene for a few years now but we're pleased to announce his return. He has a 12” release made with Fierce & Break called 'Empire' / 'Draw' forthcoming on Quarantine and a track entitled 'Horse' with Instra:mental so we thought it was high time to catch up with Nico and see where he's been and what he's got in store for us.
Raiden: Beaming in direct from the Eastern European outpost of Tallinn, Estonia, Chris Jarman, aka Raiden, is launching a covert attack on drum & bass as we know it. And, throwing a healthy love for techno into the mix, Raiden and his OffKey crew go into battle armed with new label compilation, 'The Firm'. We get the low-down and find out why he thinks d&b is “ten years behind” techno.
Chronic: Chronic is a sister label of V Recordings alongside Philly Blunt and Liquid V and despite releasing its first tune back in 1995 it's never really got the recognition it deserves. However all that could be about to change with a busy release schedule and a new compilation entitled 'Big, Bad & Heavy'. Spanning two CDs, Ruffstuff mixes all the recent and new tracks while label manager Mosus goes into the vaults for an old school selection.
