Finally seeing full release after a lengthy period on dub, Renegade Hardware presents Icicle’s debut single. A release which showcase’s another dimension to the Hardware sound spectrum. “Frozen” is a trip down into the depths. Stripped back to the raw elements, cavernously deep subs weave and entwine themselves around swaggering drums and ever evolving percussion. Atmospheric and hypnotic. Deep and minimal. A perfect example of complex simplicity.

Memoirs of an Afterlife
The main bit of news this month is the release of Rufige Kru's follow-up to the monumental "Mailce In Wonderland".
Any of you who've managed to get your mitts on the 4-track limited-edition promo vinyl know what a quality album "Memoirs of an Afterlife" is gonna be. Memoirs will drop on the 14th July. Pre-release reviews of the record have been glowing in their appreciation. The general vibe off everyone concerned seems to be that Memoirs not only pays a healthy nod to the origins of drum & bass, but also paves the way for the future of the scene.
