NEXt GENeration Music for Next Generation People, NexGen Music's mission & purpose is to provide and maintain a solid musical avenue for unsigned artists, writers & composers. NexGen believes that all quality music should be heard and exposed to all corners of the universe, regardless of location, background, musical profile, wealth, race, color, religion or creed. NexGen Music promises to deliver you deep into the four Human Intelligences; Mental (IQ), Emotional (EQ), Spiritual (SQ) & Physical (PQ) NexGen is about love, creativity and freedom of the musical soul. NEXGEN MUSIC GROUP - began in a small apartment in South East London U.K - back in 1990. After delving into the depths with underground Hardcore for 4 years, and then with the brand new emergence of the Jungle/Drum & Bass scene, Daniel set about learning experimenting, and mastering this at the time, newly developed sound. As Drum & Bass evolved phenomenally over the past 16+ years with so many different sub-genres within the music itself – NexGen Music has slotted nicely into the musical, soulful & experimentally-progressive side of the scene - as well as branching out into various other music genres: DOWN-TEMPO, CHILL-OUT, HOUSE, ELECTRONICA, EXPERIMENTAL & POP to name a few.... NexGen Music offers something totally fresh, exhilarating, and down-right fun to the current and future of World underground and mainstream music. NexGen Music extended it's operations and set up in Brooklyn, NYC and Dire moved back to New York in the summer of 2004 to contribute & influence the US ELECTRONIC MUSIC scene and look for new fresh artists to promote. NEXGEN MUSIC IS CURRENTLY RECEIVING MASSIVE SUPPORT FROM: LTJ BUKEM, NOOKIE, FABIO, BAILEY, DJ DEZERT RAT, BASSDRIVE, KOOL FM, 1XTRA, UK BASS RADIO & OF COURSE - LOAD MEDIA UK! AFFECTIONATE GROOVES – “Sister” of NEXGEN - the Down-tempo/Chill-out/Deep House/Experimental extension of NEXGEN which incorporates the imaginations of extremely creative and experimental producers & musicians. Run out of NexLab Studio’s (Brooklyn), Affectionate Grooves is currently blessed with the services of very talented New York Jazz Musicians - Greg Diamond & Jerry Carlstead, (Chico Hamilton's Band) & Chris Cuzme, who individually and collectively are the main feature for the live performances at clubs & rave events. AFFECTIONATE GROOVES is headed up by Daniel (Mr Affectionate) & DJ Sonkwa – Yoshitoshi / Freeform Alliance (D.C) who is Dire’s (Daniel’s) main DJ’ing partner bringing the Funky-House / Brazilian Beat-Electro / Tribal and progressive vibes.
