An update on DJ Marky !
Marky has been on top of the world since being voted the BestInternational Artist/DJ at the 1Xtra Bass Awards in March and rightly
so. Since being presented with the award by Fabio, Marky has been on
the road reinforcing why he was voted at the top of the international
leaderboard. A succession of top notch UK gigs including the
syndication of his London branded residency DJ Marky & Friends
around the UK and Paris, meant that the tour went really well. And
now Marky is looking forward to the next tour in May/June, kicking
off with an entire night of DJ Marky turntablism alongside Fabio at
The END.
2007 is looking like a pretty hectic year for DJ Marky with festival
dates and trips overseas being confirmed as we speak. Most recently
the confirmation has come in for DJ Marky to travel to the White Isle
of Ibiza again for another stellar performance for Carl Cox & Friends
at legendary nightspot SPACE. His label Innerground Records is facing
the biggest year of its short history as well with some outstanding
tracks coming through form some of the brightest emerging and
established stars from around the globe. There is also major talk in
the Innerground ranks of a forthcoming, long-awaited DJ Marky mix
album, taking some of the wealth of talent represented in the label's
back catalogue and pushing it forward with a few exclusive tracks so
fresh, the ink isn't even dry on the contracts!
