As you will no
doubt be aware (and if you’re not aware then you are seriously lacking in
street cred – don’t worry, we can help) Atlantic Connection’s Westbay
Recordings label has gone from strength to strength since its inception at the
start of the year. Why? Well, each release has built on the incredible
reputation that AC has garnered as a stand out producer with the ability to
cross musical boundaries, his combinations of Drum & Bass with Hip Hop,
R&B and every other genre you care to think of have been making massive
waves across the first three releases, and that’s not gonna stop anytime soon.
How can you get
your hands on this exciting material? By now the third release ‘Rocksteady’ and
‘Burning Blue’ featuring Illy Emcee should have dropped on full release with a
stunning picture sleeve from Facts of Life Design (they of Pendulum album cover
fame) and the first two Westbay releases – ‘Leaving Home’ / ‘Whatchu Know’ (ft.
MC Deviant) and ‘Can’t Destroy Love’ (ft. Minds One, DJ Neumenon & Treason)

So, step one of
improving your music collection should have been achieved by now, so on to step
two and the highly exciting (don’t keel over, if you need a minute to catch
your breath then look away from the page for a second or two) launch of Westbay
International, a brand new sister label designed to release music from
like-minded artists from around the World. First up we have a massive 12” from
Beta 2 & Zero Tolerance swiftly followed by an ultra deep affair from new
kids on the block Spectrasoul; look out for more releases and some hot remixes
on the Westbay International horizon soon.
Which finally
leads us to step three, and what better way to round things off than to drag
you lot kicking and screaming into the 21st century with Westbay
Digital? That’s right, there is no better way! Not only will you look ultra
cool and hip (didn’t ‘hip’ go out of fashion in 1967? Anyway…) by downloading
